11/08 - RC-PADD Publication at the 3rd Panhellenic Conference in Earthquake Engineering

An article by Aris Theophilou titled "Computational Earthquake-Resistant Design of Reinforced Concrete Building Structures to Eurocodes", discussing the functionality of RC-PADD 2 has been published at the 3rd Panhellenic Conference in Earthquake Engineering and Technical Seismology, which took place in Athens in November 2008.

The article discusses the theoretical background of the program with explicit reference to the fiber section method and algorithms, the material models, the combination of actions and the calculations for beams, columns and shear walls. The article concludes with an applied example, which shows the advantages of RC-PADD over other conventional programs.
